Faith Formation at St. John the Baptist
Unlike at almost any other parish in America, the faith formation your child receives at St. John the Baptist is *taught by our pastor himself.*
And the best part is that you get to walk with your child through it. You, as a family, get to rediscover the beauty of the faith, of the Mass, and of the Sacraments, as your child prepares to be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit at Confirmation.
Along with small group sessions for your child, the Confirmation program at St. John the Baptist is centered on Sunday Mass and lessons from Fr. Tilley between the Sunday morning Masses. These talks from our pastor are enriching for bothyou and your child, allowing you to flourish in the faith as a family.
Confirmation
A two-year program, our Confirmation classes typically are taken in the seventh and eighth grades. If you have a child who needs this sacrament and is older than the typical age, contact our Director of Faith Formation at (801) 984-7125.
