About Us
At the coming of Christ into the world, “there was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came for testimony, to bear witness to the light, that all might believe” (John 1:7).
Through the Grace of God, nearly 2,000, year later at the turn of the 21st Century, a small, but growing group of Catholics here in Draper, UT recommitted themselves to make that same testimony. Through their great Faith, Hope, and Charity, they established St. John the Baptist Parish, to bear witness to the light, Christ's Divine Love.
Today, that witness continues. As Draper and the Greater Salt Lake Area continue to be one of the youngest and quickest growing areas in the nation, and with the Eucharist as our firm foundation, the mission of St. John the Baptist Parish is to build up the faith of our children so that our families may be a witness of Christ’s divine love.
